TWE Productions was founded by the internationally acclaimed Canadian filmmaker Tyler Warren Ellis, whose work has garnered numerous prestigious awards on the global stage. With a profound passion for storytelling and a remarkable ability to capture compelling narratives, Tyler has established himself as a visionary in the world of cinema. His extensive background spans across film, television, and commercial video production, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project.
Cinematographer
I freelance for other directors, production companies, and television producers across the east coast. You can find me behind the camera of a feature length film, commercial video shoot, or TV production. I work solo, with my own crew, or as the head of a camera department.
Director
I produce commercials, music videos, television shows, comedy specials, and films. As a one man band, or with my crew of the most talented camera operators, audio engineers, production assistants, grips, and gaffers. Making my visions, and yours, come to life.
TV Producer
Working with Canadas largest content creation company, Bell Media, I have been instrumental in the development and production of several shows including: Jeff Liberty’s: Music To Go, Cooking with Bridget, Art and Soul, and James Mullinger’s: Atlantic Edition.
Photographer
I am the chief photographer for The Maritime Edit magazine. I've had my work published in GQ Magazine, and The New York Times. One of my true passions in life is concert photography, I have been lucky enough to work with everyone from Alan Doyle to Post Malone, and Sum 41 to Ghostface Killah, of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Editor
I work with filmmakers from across the country helping bring stories to life. I have edited award winning feature films, music videos, television seasons, and commercials for some of the largest corporations and brands in the country.
Drone Pilot
I have been flying camera drones professionally since 2016. I am a fully licensed RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) pilot with Transport Canada. Apart from capturing aerial shots for my own films, I provide my drone services to other filmmakers, and television producers alike.
